Kenya Meat Commission is a Kenyan government-owned meat processor, established in 1950 and described as the oldest and largest meat processor in Kenya and the East African region. Its mandate is to provide a ready market for livestock farmers and to supply meat products to local and international consumers. It operates a headquarters and depot in Nairobi, a factory at Athi River and a factory in Mombasa. The company serves local and export markets, offers carcass grading and runs franchise outlets. Its status changed from a state corporation to a Government Owned Enterprise in December 2025.
