Description

Carboniste is a Sonoma, California producer of hand-disgorged sparkling wine. Its bottles are made by the traditional method, fermented in the bottle, and the winery says its sparkling wines have earned 98 points. Its offerings include a California Brut, a Marin Blanc de Noir, a Corralitos Extra Brut, Brut Zero wines and a range of animal-labeled bottles such as Octopus and Whale. The company was built by two college sweethearts, runs a club called the Yacht Club with regular shipments, and sells direct from its winery. It is family owned.
