Description

Yamama is a Lebanese food manufacturer that began in 1964 as Usine Laveluxe Industrielle, founded by Ahmad Ataya to make soap and laundry powder. It later became a maker of apple, grape and balsamic vinegar, grenadine molasses and syrups. Its product categories also include tomato products, lemon juice, rose and blossom water, soy sauce, jam, canned vegetables, and pasta and rice. More than 65% of the plant's production is exported, with a strong presence in the Gulf markets and some western countries. It sells through international and local distributors.
