Description

Woodlands Dairy is a South African dairy producer and the home of the First Choice brand. It makes dairy products and says it applies sustainable practices from the farm to the table. In 2012 it began a sustainability programme with a greenhouse gas baseline assessment, and the programme now rests on environmental, social and governance pillars aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The company has commissioned two biomass boilers and a resource recovery plant, and it supports farmers in adopting sustainable practices.
