Description

Weingut Hetzel is a German wine and sparkling wine estate in Ilsfeld, started in 1978 by Roland Hetzel, who first ran it alongside his job and later added further vineyards. Almost all of its vineyards are terraced steep slopes opposite Schloss Liebenstein in Neckarwestheim. They grow typical regional varieties such as Trollinger and Lemberger, as well as Spätburgunder, Acolon, Cabernet Cubin, Riesling, Kerner and Sauvignon Blanc. Since 2015 it has also grown the new white variety Sämling 503, bred at the Weinsberg viticulture school, and it sells from its own sales room.
