Description
Vita Nova Göttinger Reformhaus is part of the Vita Nova group of health food stores, known in Germany as Reformhäuser. The group was founded in 2001 by seven reform-store owners and now has more than 15 members with over 180 shops from Bremerhaven to Bad Reichenhall. Its concept combines organic food, natural cosmetics and natural remedies. The Reformhaus tradition goes back to 1887, when a retail shop called Gesundheitszentrale opened in Berlin as part of the life-reform movement. Early products were vegetable fats, grape juice, dried fruit, wholemeal bread and body-care oils.
