Description

Vega Soyfit is the soya food brand of Vega Industries, an Indian company that began operating in 1986. Its founder, Arvind Chandra, discussed the idea of tofu in India during a 1976 visit to Cornell University in the United States. He became a pioneer in soya food products in India and had to design the production machinery from scratch because no manufacturing unit existed there. The company's stated aim is to provide healthy food at an affordable price, and its range includes tofu and a family of Soyfit soya products.
