Tsurumiso Brewing is a miso brewer in Yanagawa, Fukuoka, founded in 1870 and still making miso more than 150 years later. Its brick miso storehouses, built between 1906 and 1918, are still in use and were registered as national tangible cultural property in 2000. The company aims to make plain, safe miso and says its taste comes from the nature of the Chikugo plain. In 2026 its smoked miso mustard dressing won first place overall and the dressing category at a national seasoning championship. The company sells through an online shop.
