It was founded by Georgios Tsarouchas as a small production unit in the city of Kavala, initially supplying the local market. It sells under two brand names: Makedoniki Gi, its first brand, and Buono, created for foreign markets because of the company's export focus. The range includes green peppers and other pickled vegetables. The company has since moved to larger facilities of its own.
