Description

Tokara is a family-owned wine estate on the upper slopes of the Simonsberg mountain in South Africa, named after the founders' children, Thomas and Kara. Its vineyard and olive grove overlook False Bay and Table Mountain. The estate planted its first Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the mid-nineties and focuses on Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, which are reflected in three ranges. Besides wine, Tokara produces olive oil and runs a restaurant and a delicatessen, and it hosts weddings and functions.
