Description

The Tempeh Shop is a heirloom tempeh maker in Gainesville, Florida, making traditional tempeh since 1985. It makes soy tempeh as well as soy-free varieties from black-eyed peas, yellow peas and chickpeas, and also sells tempeh powder and bulk bundles. The company serves restaurants and the local community, and says dozens of restaurants in Florida have partnered with it to serve its tempeh. It describes its tempeh as fresher than commercial tempeh available through restaurant distribution chains. The company sells wholesale and offers sample packs and variety packs of its products.
