Tariş Üzüm Birliği is a Turkish cooperative union of grape producers whose roots go back to 1913. It includes the Alaşehir integrated grape facility, a vinegar and molasses plant and 13 cooperatives with over 10,000 members. The union is one of Turkey's largest buyers and exporters of seedless raisins. It exports to the United Kingdom, where it covers about 30 percent of the market, and to Germany and the Netherlands. Its research department was founded in 1985 within Ege University, and its products are sold in Turkey through dealers, chain stores and online.
