Società Agricola De Bartoli S.r.l. is the winery behind Marco De Bartoli wines of Marsala and Pantelleria. Marco De Bartoli began in the late 1970s at the family baglio in Contrada Samperi, twelve kilometres from Marsala, choosing the perpetual method and native grapes at a time when Marsala had become an industrial wine. The company works from two estates, Tenuta Samperi in Marsala and Tenuta Bukkuram in Pantelleria. Its wines include Grillo-based labels such as Vecchio Samperi and Terzavia, Marsala Vergine Riserva, and Zibibbo wines such as Bukkuram Padre della Vigna. It also offers a grappa and guided tastings at its estates.
