Description

Shamir Salads is an Israeli producer of chilled salads, founded in 1974 in Kfar Maas and now based at a factory in Barkan. Its products include hummus, matbucha, Moroccan carrot, red cabbage and other salads, sold under brands such as Gourmet, Asli, Mother's Kitchen, Miki's Desserts, Seven Days and Picnic. In 2013 it acquired Pal Dagim, which added prepared fish products. It serves the retail and institutional markets, makes private label for retail chains and has exported to Europe and the USA since 1994. By 2024 it produced 1,100 tons a month on six production lines with 200 employees.
