Riso Viazzo is a family company in Crova, in the Vercelli area of Italy, producing parboiled rice since it was started by Mario Viazzo in October 1985. The parboiling plant began operating in April 1989, and since 2002 the business has been run by Giuseppe, Nicola and Giulia. About 40 percent of its parboiled rice is distributed on the Italian market and the remaining 60 percent is exported. The company states that it inspects every grain leaving its plants and has a production capacity of 180,000 kg per day.
