Description

Pure Harvest Smart Farms is a hydroponic farming company in the United Arab Emirates that grows fresh produce locally all year round. It grows greens, more than 20 varieties of tomatoes and berries, and it partners with other farms for additional produce. The company packs its own produce and cools it immediately after picking to extend shelf life, and it uses on-site water treatment for food safety. It says its produce is typically grown less than 100 kilometres from the consumer and that beneficial insects protect the plants. It also makes sauces from tomatoes that would otherwise be wasted, and a line of fruit preserves.
