Pelagia is a Norwegian producer of pelagic fish products for human consumption as well as fish meal, marine protein and fish oil for feed. Pelagia Food processes pelagic fish for export as fresh, frozen and marinated products at 14 processing facilities in Norway and Northern Europe. The company says it uses 100 percent of the fish raw material so that nothing goes to waste. Pelagia Services, earlier known as Hordafor, has handled by-products from fisheries and aquaculture since 1983, and the group operates in more than 20 communities in five countries.
