Description

Pantaleon is an agro-industrial group from Guatemala that has operated since 1849 and processes sugar cane into sugar, molasses, alcohols and electricity. It employs more than 17,700 people in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Chile and the United States. The group reaches an annual output of 1.1 million tonnes of sugar and derived products. It exports to more than 30 countries, supplying food industries and refineries, and also lists a biomass product called Novapellet.
