Description
OKC Food Hub is a non-profit fresh produce delivery company in Central Oklahoma that connects local producers with restaurants, institutions, retailers, schools, food box programs and others through weekly online ordering. It works to transform the local food system by supporting local farmers and increasing access to locally grown foods. It buys from beginning farmers and farmers of color, and its food goes to food banks and pantries, tribes, schools, farmers hub stores, restaurants and grocery stores. The hub runs a Farm Share program with pickup sites. It collects, anonymizes and aggregates data on how much local food is purchased, from whom and where it goes.
