Description
MiLa (Mitgliederladen) is a members' shop in Rostock run as a cooperative. It was founded in 2021 under the umbrella of Ökohaus e.V. and has been operated by MiLa Rostock eG since June 2024. The shop sells fresh vegetables, bread, meat and dairy products, mostly from organic farming and largely from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, plus supraregional food and drugstore items. Members are co-owners who vote at the annual general meeting, and non-members can shop there too. It takes pre-orders for bread and meat.
