Metzgerei Settele GbR is a family butcher business in Augsburg-Haunstetten, founded in 1960 by Karl and Mathilde Settele in connection with the Gasthaus Settele. The butcher shop was built in 1965 and fully modernised in 2014, and it is now run in the third generation by Karl-Heinz Settele and his son Maximilian. Lamb comes directly from a shepherd's farm in Walkertshofen. Since 2016 the company has bought pork from straw husbandry from farmers in the Augsburg district, and its cattle grow up in open straw stables.
