Description

Menehune Water Company is a Hawaii water delivery business based in Halawa that has served the islands since 1985. It delivers ultra-pure, alkaline and distilled water in 5-gallon bottles, along with water cooler dispensers, to homes and businesses on Oahu, Maui and Kauai. The company describes an 8-step purification process and a 5-step sanitization process for its bottles, and says it delivers every 10 business days. Its water begins as rainfall in a rain forest and filters through lava rock into a protected aquifer. It has grown from a local supplier in Honolulu to serving Hawaii statewide, the U.S. mainland and international markets, and it runs a recycling program.
