Description

Mecom is a Slovak meat producer that has made meat specialities since 1972, when it opened its first meat plant under the Vihorlat hills in Humenné. Its portfolio includes frankfurters, hams, dry, semi-dry and soft salamis, dry and soft sausages, smoked meats, bacon and meat spreads, plus snack and protein lines. It also sells slaughter-season specialities and shelf-ready packs. The plants are certified every year under the IFS food standard, and the brand has won the Superbrands award several years in a row. Products are sold in Slovakia and abroad.
