Markus-Muehle produces cold-pressed food for dogs and cats in the Westerwald region of Germany, in a company founded more than 60 years ago by the master miller Josef Olberts. His son Markus Olberts developed the first dry dog food made in a way that preserves its nutrients, now sold as NaturNah HundeFutter. The dog range also includes vegetarian food, Black Angus, venison, lamb and sensitive recipes, and a dry cat food line. The company uses hydropower electricity in all of its production, supports nature conservation projects, and also supplies dealers and breeders.
