Description

Marata is a Brazilian group that has been in the market for more than 50 years under the leadership of José Augusto Vieira, an entrepreneur from Sergipe. The group includes companies in food, agribusiness (cattle and citrus growing), disposables, plastic packaging, construction and export. Its food products include wheat flour lines, such as industrial flour, Maratá wheat flour and the Tia Mara 1 kilogram flour. It also runs a foundation, established in 1993, that provides free schooling and vocational training in the region.
