Magro Brothers is a family-owned food group in Malta, operating from a cluster of food workshops and factories in Xewkija, Gozo, known as the Magro Food Village. The organisation was established in 1916 when three Magro brothers joined their father, a general provision merchant. In 1934 it opened the first tomato processing plant on Gozo. Today it produces canned tomato products, dairy products and a range of traditional craft foods, with brands grouped as ambient, artisan, and chilled and frozen foods. The group also has investments in property development, real estate and retail.
