MA's Kitchen is a Sri Lankan food manufacturer that began in 1985 in Dambulla, where a couple running a backpackers' lodge set up MA's Tropical Food Processing. Its aim from the start was to bring the taste of Sri Lanka to kitchens around the world, and its first international shipment left the Dambulla factory in 1986. In 1995 it acquired Happy Home to widen its range. Its products include cinnamon sticks, mixed spice, garlic and chilli sauce, Japanese brown curry roux, a Pad Thai meal kit, a Tex Mex BBQ seasoning, ready-to-eat chicken curry and stick noodles. The company exports its products to markets abroad.
