Description

Long Clawson Dairy , trading as Clawson Farms, is a British cheese maker and a co-operative of 30 farms within a 30-mile radius of its home near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. The story began in 1912 with 11 founding farmer members, and it now has more than 100 years of experience. Its cheeses include PDO Blue Stilton, Shropshire Blue and Aged Rutland Red. Master graders and affineurs look after each cheese, and the cheeses have won awards such as Supreme Champion at the International Cheese and Dairy Awards in 2024. The member farms supply the milk, produced with attention to the environment and animal welfare.
