Description
Loki Fish Company direct-markets its own catch of wild Alaskan salmon to consumers, stores and restaurants in Seattle and beyond. Pete Knutson and Hing Lau Ng bought the fishing vessel Loki in 1979 because they were dissatisfied with processing standards on larger boats and wanted to cut out the middle man. The salmon is gillnet caught, bled and dressed on board, chilled in refrigerated seawater holds and processed in Bellingham, Washington. Products include boneless fillets, whole fish, smoked salmon, cold smoked lox, salmon patties, roe and canned and dried salmon. Customers can buy through a community supported fishery program, online, at farmers markets, and through stores, co-ops and restaurants.
