Description

Lochan Tea Limited is an Indian tea company focused on Darjeeling tea. It is linked to the Doke tea garden, an organic garden in Pothia in Kishanganj, where Rajiv Lochan planted new tea bushes in 1998 on a small plot of land the government considered useless for agriculture. With the help of garden workers and local farmers the garden began to flourish. It also provides background on the history of tea, types of tea, and Indian, Darjeeling and Chinese teas.
