Description

Libanjus is a Lebanese manufacturer and distributor of juice, dairy and ice cream, with brands that include Maccaw, Danway Iceberg, La Bergère, UNO, Top Juice and Top Quick. Its range also covers flavored milk, cocoa spreads, juice concentrate and gluten-free products, and the company exports internationally. The story began in 1959, when Mikhael Gharios built the La Frutta Factory near Beirut, mainly to pack oranges grown in nearby plantations. Its factories are certified to ISO 22000 and HACCP food safety standards. Libanjus was also the first factory in Lebanon to install a solar PV system, which grew from a 135 kWp pilot in 2015 to nearly 1 MWp.
