Description

Langatun Distillery AG is a Swiss whisky distillery in Aarwangen, housed in a granary built in 1616 beside the Aare river. Its roots go back to 1857, when Jakob Baumberger founded a distillery in Langenthal, and in 2005 Hans Baumberger III began making Langatun single malts. The company states that it grew into the largest Swiss whisky distillery and specialises in maturing whisky in a variety of wine casks. Its range includes the Heritage, Special and Single Cask lines, a whisky liqueur line, miniatures and spirits. It also hosts distillery events.
