Description
La Feixa SCCP — La Feixa is a cooperative supermarket in Mataró, run as a non-profit consumer cooperative with a self-managed and participatory model. It aims to change prevailing consumption patterns and promotes responsible consumption based on organic and local products. The cooperative sources from nearby producers, preferably those in social projects, and avoids large distributors where possible. Anyone can buy in the shop, while members pay lower prices and take part in an assembly-based, horizontal organisation. It also runs an online eco-shop.
