Kaiser Pickles , LLC is part of the family-owned Kaiser Foods group of companies, begun in 1920 in Cincinnati, Ohio, by Harry T. Kaiser Sr. as a food stand at city markets. In 1930 it became a food distributor serving Greater Cincinnati, carrying pickles, kraut and relishes. It opened its first pickle processing facility in 1990 and bought the Matthews Pickle Company in 2010, becoming a fully integrated pickle company that also produces peppers. Its cucumbers come mostly from local farms in Michigan, and its current focus is food safety.
