Description

Iowa Food Cooperative is a year-round online farmers' market for Central Iowa. Its members have access to over 75 Iowa producers and over 1,500 local products. Members order what they want from the producers they choose, then collect their orders on distribution week at a storefront in Beaverdale or at a central Iowa satellite location, or have them delivered at home in Des Moines. Producers can join through a producer handbook and application, and the co-op publishes its food standards. Its stated aim is to bring food from Iowa farms to Iowa tables and support local agriculture.
