Guy Charlemagne — Champagne Guy Charlemagne is a grower-producer (Récoltant Manipulant) in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs, operating since 1892. The estate has been owned by a winegrowing family for five generations and is now led by sisters Justine and Marie Charlemagne. It farms about ten hectares of its own vineyard in 17 named sites across 29 plots, with old vines averaging 58 years. The house makes Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru champagnes, including the non-vintage La Grande Réserve and the vintage Les Mesnillésimes. It presses, vinifies and ages its wines in the village.
