Garcia Baquero is a Spanish cheese maker working in Castilla-La Mancha since 1962 and still run as a family tradition. Its first production centre was set up in the mid-1970s in Alcázar de San Juan, where it still makes many of its cheeses with the same artisanal techniques and recipe. The company keeps its own sheep and goat farms to control the quality of the milk. Its range centres on Manchego cheeses, including Reserva 12, Viejo 10 months and Cinco Lanzas Gran Reserva. La Cava Barus was awarded as the second-placed cheese in the world.
