Description
Formatgeria Serrat Gros is a goat farm and cheese dairy in Josa de Cadí, Spain, founded in 1980 by Eulàlia Torras. Raül Alcaraz and Mercè Lagrava took it over in 2006 and still run it. The dairy makes cheese, mató, yoghurt, fresh cheese and pasteurised milk from the milk of its own goats. Since 2020 all production has taken place in Josa, and the owners are involved in every step from the births of the kids and the milking to the sale. The cheese is available from April to December.
