Description
Eight Bells Winery is a nautically themed urban winery in the Roosevelt and Ravenna area of North Seattle, producing hand-crafted red and white Washington wines. It was established in 2009 by friends Tim Bates, Andy Shepherd and Frank Michiels, and in 2021 Frank's daughter Taylor became chief executive officer, forming the second generation. The team produces about 2,000 cases of wine a year. Its fruit comes from Eastern Washington's Red Willow and Boushey Vineyards, and featured wines include a Bordeaux-style field blend, Sangiovese, Syrah and Chardonnay. The winery runs a tasting room, two wine club options, private events and member events.
