Description

Dornier Wines is a family-owned wine estate at the foot of Stellenbosch Mountain in South Africa, in the upper Blaauwklippen Valley. It makes red and white wines with minimal intervention, grown on ancient decomposed granite soils on cool, south-facing slopes. The estate is spread over three farms, Groenkloof, Heldemeer and Stellenrust, the last with a historic homestead designed by Sir Herbert Baker. It runs a wine shop, a wine lounge and a wine club called Donatus. Distributors are listed on its site.
