Description
Dolciaria Fassana is a family-run pastry business founded in 1978 by Giuseppe Castelnuovo in the Fassa valley in the Dolomites. It makes fresh and baked pastry products for both wholesale and retail customers. Its specialities are typical local products such as strudel, zelten, cakes and crostate, along with grostoli, a fried pastry known under many regional names. The range also includes Biscotti delle Dolomiti, Marcialonga biscuits, plaited breads with raisins or chocolate, and meringues. The main site in Fontanazzo combines production and a shop, and a seasonal sales point called Sagra del Dolce opens in summer in Mazzin.
