Description

Brio S.p.A. is an Italian producer organisation for organic fruit and vegetables, formed in the 1990s by 15 small farmers who shared the values of organic farming. It now brings together 443 organic farms in 14 Italian regions, with 1,690 hectares under cultivation and an annual output of about 45,000 tonnes. Brio is the licensee for organic fruit and vegetables under the Alce Nero brand. Its field technicians follow the member farms along the whole production chain, and it supports both organic and biodynamic production. Brio recently introduced a 100 percent paper pack for organic Alce Nero potatoes.
