Description
Brasserie d'Écaussinnes is a Belgian craft brewery in the village of Écaussinnes, which had no beer production after 1970 until two enthusiasts invested in the old brewery in 2012 to restart it. A new team joined in 2014, and in 2015 the brewery launched its 1830 range, named in honour of the Walloon volunteers who marched on Brussels in 1830. The range includes Le Roi, a 10 percent strong brown ale, La Loi, an 8 percent blonde, and La Liberté, a 7 percent amber beer. The brewery also produces KVB Blanche, a 4.9 percent white beer, and KVB IPA, a wheat IPA brewed with Cascade, Chinook and Columbus hops.
