Description

Bottroper Bier is a brewery in Bottrop, Germany, which since 2019 has brought commercial brewing back to the town. It brews its beers by hand and describes its approach as quality over volume. The range includes an unfiltered Helles in the style of a Kellerpils, a Bavarian-style Dunkel, an Export and a seasonal Maibock. Its Helles won gold at the European Beer Star in 2021, and its Dunkel won silver in 2024 and gold in 2025. The brewery sells its beer directly at its site and at events, and offers beer tastings.
