Description

Bolletje is a Dutch bakery that has made rusks, crackers and snacks since 1867. Its range includes Bolletje Beschuit rusks, sold in storage tins, a wholemeal and fibre-rich range, and crackers such as the Bagel Cracker and a robust wholegrain cracker. It also makes seasonal Kruidnoten, the spiced biscuit sweets sold around the St Nicholas holiday in the Netherlands. The company runs an online shop and a separate business section for professional customers. It reports working on sustainability by cutting its CO2 emissions and reusing residual streams from its bakeries, and its crackers have won retail industry awards.
