Description

Bissell Maple Farm is a family maple producer near Jefferson, Ohio that sells bulk and wholesale maple syrup. The family's Ohio roots go back to the 1800s, when Peter Bissell relocated from Connecticut, and the farm began as an apple orchard. The company serves several markets, including retail, food service and bulk ingredients, and also sells through its own shop. It publishes a guide to maple syrup grades, a podcast and educational material about how syrup is made in a sugar shack, along with an FAQ about maple syrup.
