Description

Beta Spuds is a Western Australian potato business that grows, harvests, processes and distributes potatoes, and it describes itself as the largest potato grower, harvester and processor in the state. It supplies all the popular varieties as well as retailer-specific brands, in prepacked, bulk and loose formats, throughout the year. Its processing uses a four-stage washing process, sponge drying and a hydro cooler that lowers the potato temperature to 8 degrees Celsius. The company has held SQF food safety accreditation since 1997 and HARPS accreditation since 2016. It says its potatoes reach stores in less than 12 hours and is celebrating 25 years in business.
