Beslers HofladenDescription
Beslers Hofladen is the shop of the Besler family, who run a mountain farm in Schwand near Oberstdorf in the Allgäu. The farm has been worked for many generations and was first mentioned in 1707, and three generations of the family live there now. The family keeps 50 dairy cows and places particular value on animal-friendly husbandry. Allgäu mountain cheese is made every day from hay milk in the farm dairy. The farm sells its cheese in its farm shop and ships it as gift packages.
