Description

Arcadie is a French company founded in 1990 that works in organic farming and fair trade. It sells spices, herbs and aromatic and medicinal plants under the Cook and L'Herbier brands. Its international supply chains include turmeric and ginger and vanilla and pepper from Madagascar, saffron from Iran, nutmeg from Sri Lanka, rooibos from South Africa and cane sugar from Paraguay. In France it works with growers of aromatic and medicinal plants in Ardeche, Drome, Charente Maritime and the Massif Central. Since 1 January 2026 it has operated as a SCIC, a cooperative society of collective interest.
