Description

Apícola Melius is a Spanish beekeeping business in the Omaña and Luna valleys in León, a biosphere reserve. It harvests forest honey, honeydew and related honeys, and also sells pollen, propolis tincture, lip balm and natural wax candles, all made in an artisan way. Its honey won first prize at the 5th National Honey Competition organised by the Spanish Association of Beekeepers. The company says its bees help biodiversity through pollination.
